The main goal of this workshop was to help children understand the importance ofkeeping good daily habits, such as personal hygiene, especially oral hygiene, eatinghealthy foods, and keeping their home tidy. We wanted them to realize that taking care ofthemselves and their surroundings makes them feel better, healthier, and happier. We began with a short and fun discussion where the children shared what they do everyday to stay clean and healthy. We talked about personal hygiene and focused on oralhygiene: brushing teeth after meals, visiting the dentist, and taking care of their smile. Weused a big toothbrush and a model of teeth to show them the correct way to brush, andthey loved trying it themselves.Next, we played a game about healthy eating. The children had to sort pictures ofdifferent foods into two groups: “everyday foods” and “sometimes foods.” They learnedthat fruits, vegetables, and water help them grow strong, while sweets and soft drinksshould only be eaten occasionally. They also talked about their favorite healthy foods anddiscovered how eating well gives them energy to play and learn. Finally, we talked about keeping their home and room tidy. We explained that having aclean and organized space helps everyone feel calmer and happier. The children sharedexamples of how they help at home, such as putting away toys, folding clothes, orhelping set the table. We played a quick activity where they had to “organize” a messyroom using cut out pictures, something that made them laugh a lot.Through games, songs, and group discussions, the children learned how small dailyhabits can make a big difference. They understood that:-Brushing their teeth keeps their mouth healthy.-Eating healthy foods helps their body grow strong.-Keeping things tidy makes home life easier and more pleasant. The atmosphere was cheerful and participative throughout the workshop, and thechildren left feeling proud of what they had learned and motivated to put it into practice athome.
