To eat or not To eat (Dumplings)

Ingredients

  • Yield: 1 dumpling/ball
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon cooking oil
  • Water/broth/soup/stew

Preparation

  1. Bring a pot of water or a tasty liquid (such as broth, soup or stew) to the stove.
  2. Begin to boil the liquid.
  3. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, milk and cooking oil in a small bowl.
  4. Stir mixture until well combined.
  5. Drop the stirred mixture, a teaspoon or tablespoon at a time, into the pot of boiling liquid.
  6. Cover the pot, and allow the dumplings to simmer for 10-12 minutes over a low heat. They’ll be finished when a toothpick, inserted into the center, comes out clean.
